Connect

JBL Quantum 610 and 360 Wireless

JBL Quantum 610 and 360: wireless via USB-A dongle

You can wirelessly connect these JBL headsets to your PC and PlayStation via a USB-A dongle. This way, you game with more freedom of movement and you can stand up to grab something more easily. You can also connect the Quantum 610 to your Xbox wired with an audio cable. The Quantum 360 doesn't have a headphone jack, so it's not suitable for the Xbox.

JBL Quantum 100M2

JBL Quantum 100M2: wired

The JBL Quantum 100M2 is a wired gaming headset. You can use this headset on every platform. Simply plug the 3.5mm cable in your controller or PC and get started quickly. Due to the wired connection, you're always connected to a cable. This means you have less freedom of movement while you game. Your cables are wear faster, which can cause noise or crackling.

Wireless

JBL Quantum 360 surround on PC

JBL Quantum 610 and 360 Wireless: yes, on PC

The JBL Quantum 610 and 360 Wireless have JBL Quantum Surround Sound. This technology only works on PC and makes sure you experience your games with spatial audio. This means you can better hear where shots or opponents are coming from. Are you playing on your PlayStation or Xbox? The effect isn't as present, but it's still more spatial than with a stereo headset.

JBL Quantum 100 M2

JBL Quantum 100M2: no, stereo

This JBL gaming headset has stereo sound and doesn't reproduce the direction of the sound as well. Don't you want to bother others with your game sounds or do you want better audio than with the sound from your TV speakers? A stereo headset is a fine choice.

Battery life

JBL Quantum One

JBL Quantum 610 Wireless: 40 hours

The battery of the JBL Quantum 610 Wireless lasts the longest of the 2 wireless gaming headsets. Are you an enthusiastic gamer who games multiple days per week? This gaming headset lasts a week and a half on average on a singe charge.

JBL Quantum 360 Wireless - 22 hours

JBL Quantum 360 Wireless: 22 hours

The JBL Quantum 360 doesn't have as good a battery as the 610 Wireless. You have to charge this headset after about 22 hours on average. This does make the headset a bit lighter than the 610 Wireless.

JBL Quantum 100M2

JBL Quantum 100M2: no battery

This JBL headset is wired, so it doesn't have a battery you have to charge. This also makes this headset the lightest of the 3 headsets. That's nice if you get a sore neck quickly.

Conclusion

Mainly don't want to disturb anyone else while you game? The wired JBL Quantum 100M2 is a good choice for you. If you don't game much, the wireless JBL Quantum 360 with an average battery life is a good choice. Do you game a lot? We recommend the JBL Quantum 610, thanks to the longer battery life.
