Gigaset forward calls
What is call forwarding?
Call forwarding is possible in 2 ways: internally and externally. Internally means that you divert the call to another handset that is registered to the same base station. Externally means that you transfer the call to another device, for example to a mobile phone.
Note: the provider might charge you for forwarding calls. Contact your provider for more information.
Set up call forwarding
- Open the menu.
- Go to Network services.
- Select Forwarding.
- Select whether you want to forward calls internally or externally.
- Under Status, you can switch call forwarding on or off.
- For To phone number, enter the phone number you want to forward the call to.
- Under the header When, you can indicate when calls should be forwarded. You have 3 options here: All (calls are forwarded directly, and the handset doesn't accept any calls anymore), Time limit (calls are forwarded if they're not accepted), and Busy (calls are forwarded if you're in a call).
- Select Send to notify the provider of the settings. Once the call forwarding options have been changed, you'll hear a tone for confirmation.
- If you don't manage to switch on forwarding for your Gigaset, it might be possible that this has to be activated by the provider. In this case, contact your provider.
