What does our television installation service include?

We think it's important to help our customers. That's why we're happy to install your new television for you with our installation service. We can even hang up your television if you want. That's easy.

Note: we currently only install your new television in North Rhine-Westphalia.

What are the advantages?

  • You can choose the day we'll visit.
  • Our own Coolblue installer will visit you.
  • We'll bring all the necessary tools with us.

  • If you want, we can take your old TV back with us.

  • Did you buy a television bundle including a soundbar? We'll also install the soundbar.

  • If you have a plaster, wood, or aerated concrete wall, we'll mount the TV with a fixed wall mount.
  • We don't mount the television to the ceiling or a TV stand.

This service costs €99. The price of the TV mount you chose is added to this. The total price depends on the model.

Before installation

Before we visit, make sure you have a working WiFi signal. It's also handy to look up your WiFi password, so we can connect your new television to the internet right away. Do you watch live television via a box or CI+ module from your provider? Make sure you have a working TV signal.

During installation

Take a seat on the couch. Our installers will ensure that you have a ready-to-use TV right away. Do you have questions about your new television or do you just want to have a nice chat? Our delivery drivers aren't just good installers, they're always up for a chat.

After installation

After installation, you can enjoy your installed television and possible soundbar right away. Do you still have questions after installation? Our television experts at our Customer Service are happy to answer all your questions.

How do I check if my wall is suitable for the mounting service?

Our installers will mount all televisions to solid brick or concrete walls. Check if you have a hollow wall by knocking on the wall. Hollow walls are made of plaster, wood, or aerated concrete. On hollow walls, our installers will hang televisions up to 75 inches. Read this article to find out what type of wall you have.

Why should I buy one of your installation services with my television?

The satisfaction of our customers is very important to us. We want to unburden you as much as possible with our installation services, so you can enjoy your new television right away. Our installers are all employed by Coolblue and receive extensive training. This ensures that everything works properly after installation and that your new TV hangs level on the wall if you have your TV mounted.

Do you set up my decoder (such as a Ziggo box) or CI+ module?

Our delivery drivers will connect your CI+ module or decoder to the TV for you. They'll also search for channels, so you can watch TV right away. Did you just purchase a new CI+ module or decoder? We won't go through the entire installation for this. Make sure your products are ready for use before installation.

Which products do you connect with the installation service?

Our installers connect all peripherals for you that you're already using. For example, a DVD player, soundbar, or game console.

I already have a wall mount. Do you use this for the installation?

Our installers only mount the television on the included wall mount. This way, we can guarantee that your television will hang safely on the wall. You can choose the wall mount when you select the installation and mounting service on the product page. Does your television come with a wall mount? We'll use this for the installation and you don't have to choose a wall mount yourself.

I already have a television. Can I order the installation services or the wall mount from you, so that you can install my TV?

No, that's not possible. Our delivery drivers only install the television and soundbar that they deliver to you.
