Description

With the Tado Smart Radiator Knob X Starter Pack 11-pack, you can regulate the temperature per room. Even if you don't have a boiler. You can control the radiator knobs via the app on your smartphone. There, you can also find extra functions to save energy. Set temperature schedules so the heating is only on when you're at home, for example. Or let the thermostat do so automatically via geofencing. Thanks to the open window detection, the heating is turned off automatically when the window is open. This way, you save energy. For these extra functions, you need an Auto Assist subscription of € 3.99 per month. The radiator thermostats of the Tado X series work with the Matter smart home platform. This allows you to connect it to other smart devices.

Top system, works fantastic

  • Subscription if you want to use geo-fencing (worth it)

We replaced our remeha thermostat with tado + smart radiator valves 6 weeks ago. We saved 30% energy in the first month. If this continues, we will quickly recoup the investment. We are very happy, and also because it is now only warm when it needs to be warm in the (bath)rooms.

I still have to get used to Tado

  • Temperature setting works moderately. The set temperature is always exceeded by almost 2 degrees

I wanted to be able to set our room to a temperature. With Tado that is quite difficult and maybe even impossible. But I keep trying to improve the settings
