When you unpack this steam ironing station you will be happy, the device is well packaged and looks very sturdy. Beautiful design with a beautiful color. The device heats up in about 2 minutes and has a large water reservoir, so you can iron for quite a long time. You can set the device to different positions in the handle of the iron. You have 3 temperature settings, 1 smart lamp setting with which the light turns on as soon as you start ironing horizontally and the Smartsteam mode with which the device automatically starts and stops steam production. This steam ironing station has a high vp steam production and a high pump pressure, so you can finish ironing faster. Wrinkles will quickly be a thing of the past. Compared to my current Tefal steam ironing station, the higher steam production and higher pump pressure is really noticeable. You can lock the iron in parking space and it is then easy to pick up if you cannot leave the station on the ironing board. Please note: you need an ironing board that is suitable for a steam ironing station, otherwise you will definitely get water on the floor. I use the steam ironing station almost every day and am very satisfied and happy with this device. The lime collector works really well, the device itself indicates with a light as soon as the lime collector needs to be rinsed under the tap. If the water tank needs to be refilled, another light will also indicate this. In short, I highly recommend this steam ironing station GV9822 if you have to do a lot of ironing.

"Yes! This is a nice device!" was my thought upon first use. This Pro Express Vision GV9822 irons smoothly (glides smoothly over all types of fabrics), is sturdy, the handset is light in weight and the whole thing looks nice - as far as a steam generator can -! The super strong steam power is perfect. The steam setting can be easily adjusted via the handle, but the automatic (Smart Steam) setting actually works so well that it has become my preferred setting. In that automatic mode, the water consumption may be somewhat higher, because I have not yet reached the maximum 90 minutes that should be achievable 'according to the brochure'; it is more likely a maximum of 60 minutes, which with this device also glide by wonderfully. Refilling the water reservoir is a bit more hassle than what I was used to: unfortunately there is no option to open a lid or flap and then top up the water. No, the entire reservoir must be removed from the base station (which must be switched off first). I'm not used to that and I think it's a drawback. In practice, I don't seem to have much use for smart lighting. The ironing board is in our attic under the skylight and usually so much light comes through that the lighting is dwarfed. This also applies to the lighting of the controls on the handset; it is barely visible. But maybe I should iron in the dark more often ;) I have not yet been able to detect limescale, but, as can be seen in one of my photos, removing it would require a simple action. If refilling the water tank was 'simply' a matter of pouring it and continuing, it would have been a perfect steam generator. But all in all, absolutely no regrets with this purchase!

Just unpack and iron the Tefal steam generator! Operation is self-explanatory, so the instructions for use will remain in the packaging for a while. First impression is immediate: LOTS of steam. But that of course immediately helps to smooth out the wrinkles. Steam can also be set, but at max pay attention to the warm steam around it. LED lighting is practical, you can clearly see even better where you can smooth out. The sole feels smooth and goes smoothly over the fabric. It is also useful that the water tank can be removed, so you can easily walk to the tap to refill it. All in all very satisfied.
