Kobo Clara BW/Colour SleepCover Black

I was afraid that the screen of an e-reader would flicker a lot, but that is really not the case. You can set the screen to refresh once per chapter. I hesitated between a 6 inch and a 7 inch screen, but personally I think it is a great size. Certainly not too small for me. I find the device comfortable to hold because it is so light. I used to read via my mobile phone and what strikes me is that this e-reader offers so many more options in terms of reading settings than my mobile phone. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I wish I had bought the e-reader earlier.

Was initially very enthusiastic about this beautiful but expensive case, unfortunately that is rather disappointing after 1 1/2 months. The 30-day return period was unfortunately over. For those who may wonder how I deal with the e-reader. I have 2 e-readers, a Kobo H2O 2nd edition from 2019 and the Kobo Clara BW that I purchased just after Christmas 2024. The old e-reader goes everywhere with me, but the new one stays safely at home, because I know from experience that when you take certain e-reader cases with you everywhere in your bag, they quickly fray at the edges and the artificial leather/pu-leather flakes off. So I had already prepared myself for that, but I did not expect this from an original Kobo case. Now that I am looking for a new case and read the negative reviews about this product including photos from others, I see the same damage in the same period of time or even earlier. So this is not a negative review for Cool Blue, but a quality issue from Kobo itself.
