Description

The Elgato Stream Deck M.2 has 15 programmable buttons to make your livestream easier. The stream deck's buttons have adjustable backgrounds. This way, you can give that funny GIF button an image that you can immediately recognize and press at the right time. A single push of the button and the standardized message will be sent to your Twitch chat, while you play a flashback on the screen with another button. This Stream Deck has a removable front panel. This way, you can fully adjust and personalize your Stream Deck.

As part of a streaming setup, do it!!

  • Poor integration with Microsoft Office applications, among others

I was familiar with the Stream Deck (XL) phenomenon from the video studio at our head office. He is completely in his element there (including with OBS studio). For home use, including Microsoft Teams for work and Adobe software for hobbies, I saw this as an excuse to purchase a slightly smaller copy. Outside the Twitch / OBS / Streaming domain, the practical use is a bit disappointing. Zoom is well supported 'out of the box', but you have to configure Microsoft Teams yourself via key shortcuts. The function to show specific buttons per application, if that application is in the foreground, works fine, except for MS-Teams (because it is an Electron application?).
