Description

With the Ring Video Doorbell Wired + Chime Pack, you always know who's at your door. You can connect this smart doorbell to your existing wiring. This way, the Ring Video Doorbell is always powered and you don't have to think about recharging the battery. If someone walks through your front yard, you get a notification on your smartphone. If someone presses the bell, you hear this on your phone or on the included optional Ring Chime. Thanks to the HD camera, you can see exactly who's in your garden or standing in front of your door. You can also communicate via your phone, even if you're not there yourself.

Note: you need a Ring Home subscription if you want to view recorded footage or use person detection. This costs € 3,99 per month.

A quick, excellent video call

  • Solid
  • Excellent image that you can set for privacy (i.e. not on screen)
  • Barking dogs ringtone for the Chime. Very practical to choose when you are absent.
  • The protective cap clamps firmly. That in itself is good, but you have to press hard on the module to get it out of the cap.

It all works straight away. The app is very effective at registering and validating options.

Defective doorbell button

  • New transformer needed

Absolutely not satisfied, first of all we had to order and install a new transformer. When we did this, it turned out that the doorbell button was also defective (remains pressed/stuck). Product now returned.
