Philips Eco Conscious Edition HD2640/10

The Philips Eco Conscious Edition toaster is made of 100% biobased plastic. I think it's a great idea that big brands are trying to capitalize on reducing our carbon footprint. This is reflected in the material in the product, which is a kind of matte plastic instead of the often shiny toasters. I personally think it's beautiful. On the counter, for example, from a distance it looks more like a storage container than a toaster. A kettle and coffee machine are also sold in this line, so you could also purchase a line if you like that. The toaster toasts our bread very evenly. We think that's a big plus. Our toaster we used to have often gave out dark and light pieces. There are also eight positions on which you can roast, so there is always a good position in between. This toaster has a wooden look lid. This prevents dirt or dust from entering your toaster. Although you can easily clean it thanks to the removable crumb tray, I think it is a nice idea that the chance of dust is minimized.

The toaster is especially light, which I like because I store it myself when I'm not using it. Of course, the toaster also has a beautiful design, so it certainly looks nice on the counter. Unfortunately I don't have room for that. You can cover the toaster nicely with the accompanying lid as soon as you are not using it. Be careful, because the top of the toaster gets very hot. I unfortunately burned my finger because I roasted a currant bun that I couldn't get out right. My own mistake… It does cool down quickly so you don't have to wait long to put the lid back on. I had the currant bun toasted on level two and it was nicely toasty. In the manual the positions are clearly explained and which bread you can use best with which position. All in all a nice asset.

Great grill with enough functions for a perfect price/quality ratio. I was lucky enough to test this product. Simple to use and with the built-in set-up function also perfect for multiple purposes such as preparing a croissant! The design is beautiful and simple, that's all you need. The handy sliding drawer is perfect for keeping your device clean so that all crumbs are quickly gone! What I also noticed is that the environment / device does not get intensely warm and that also makes it extra safe in my eyes! All in all a nice device!
