Description

The Ubiquiti UniFi USW-Lite-8-PoE is a basic managed network switch for at home and small companies. The UniFi lite switch has 8 network connectors of which 4 have PoE. You can use them to power more UniFi access points, for example. That way, you don't need a separate adapter anymore. Of course, you can manage this switch entirely via the UniFi controller software. With this, you can configure all Ubiquiti UniFi appliances in your network from one location.

My US 8 60W had broken down, but to stay within the Uniifi system, I bought this switch. It looks a lot more elegant and also gets a lot less hot. The options are (for me) the same and the installation went without any problems. Only the wall mount I find rather fragile, although it undoubtedly also has advantages.
