Sony XDR-C1DBP

It was my first experience with DAB+ I had a lot of expectations of it but that was a bit disappointing... I expected that the digital sound was "always there" but it is just like with the fm radio, as the antenna is not well located / hangs you have no reception, where the fm radio then gives some noise with poor reception the sound is gone in 1x with DAB Maybe it is also due to my location but often a certain radio station fluctuates with the DAB via DAB signal from 70% to 0%... For example, if the signal is 60% today and I turn the radio back on tomorrow, I don't have enough signal or it takes quite a while to start playing. I think it is an expensive alarm clock, but otherwise I am very satisfied with it, according to some, the sound quality is mediocre, but I think that's not too bad. The sound is not tinny or very shrill but good for a clock radio (if I want to hear quality I turn on the stereo ;) and when I'm lying in bed the sound doesn't have to be so loud) You can fall asleep with music from a radio station and wake up to the sound of another station or buzzer... and this sound gradually gets louder so wake up nice and quiet... Both the display and the sound can be controlled very well, I had in the past radios that gave too much volume at its lowest position ... you do not suffer from this with this (the same applies to the display) Furthermore, there are too many extra displays to mention. All in all, I think this is a very good clock radio, handy in size, easy to operate, good sound, many options. But especially what this one is made for... it wakes me up in the morning Still fiddling with the antenna for the DAB reception, but that could also be due to my location.

Feel free to call it a design device; so looks good, sounds good and is definitely functional. Handy that the numbers are dimmable. price on the high side but you get value for money
