With the TP-Link Archer T4 Wi-Fi adapter you can easily connect a PC or laptop to the wireless network. This Wi-Fi adapter uses Wi-Fi wireless AC and can achieve a maximum wireless speed of 900 Mbps. The TP-Link Archter T4 also has a USB 3.0 connection. With a USB 3.0 connection, data is sent faster and heavy tasks, such as streaming HD movies and online gaming, go 10 times faster than with a USB 2.0 connection.

I bought this one mainly because it's both fast and Linux-capable (I use Linux Mint/Ubuntu myself). This is certainly not the case with the standard WiFi adapter. TP-link has good support for linux. Worked fine.

the wifi receiver in my old laptop dropped out regularly because there are no more drivers available for the more recent windows versions (8.1 and 10). Thanks to this receiver, the WiFi reception is optimal again
