The Braun MultiGrill Pro 9 is ideal if you like to grill food for a large group. It has a large baking surface and you can also easily use it as a table grill or mini oven. With the food thermometer you can immediately see whether your piece of food is done. Due to its large size, the grill takes up a lot of space on the counter.
Heated up quickly
In addition to the contact grill, I also find a manual and a food thermometer in the box. I plug in the grill and it heats up immediately. Heating up is lightning fast. The contact grill has a powerful power of 2,200 watts. Handy, because it means I can get started straight away.
Different preparation modes
The grill has 3 different preparation modes. I use it as a contact and table grill, but also as an oven. I use the contact grill setting for my sandwiches. The 2 plates press the sandwiches close together, so that I get crispy sandwiches. I also had a friend visit, so we also used the grill as a table grill. What I really like is that I can set the temperature of the 2 plates separately. Handy, I grill the zucchini slices and peppers at a lower temperature than my hamburgers and steaks.
Useful extra options
I sear the meat that I grill on the baking tray with the push of a button. To do this I press the 'sear' button. The grill plate then heats up to 265 degrees Celsius within a few minutes. Great, that way I get a juicy and crispy piece of meat. At first I didn't know which baking settings to use for my sandwiches. Fortunately, the grill has 2 handy automatic baking programs that set the correct baking temperature and time for me.
Always cooked meat
With the included food thermometer I can immediately see whether my meat is done. I insert the thermometer into the contact grill and insert the pin into the meat. I read the temperature on the display. Handy, so I always get perfectly cooked meat and fish.
Easy to clean
After eating I wait until the contact grill has cooled down. I release the baking trays from the grill with one push. I clean the plates and the grease collection tray in the dishwasher or easily clean them with a washing-up brush. I just don't store the grill easily. It is large in size and therefore needs a lot of space on both the countertop and in your kitchen cupboard.
