Samsung Galaxy A54 128GB Green 5G

I've had the phone for a few weeks now and I really like it. I experience the most convenience from the better connectivity with my Galaxy wath Active 2 (compared to my previous Motorola phone), especially the "do not disturb" function. When I turn them on on the phone, my watch automatically goes into do not disturb. A small point of criticism is that I can switch off the alarm on my phone via my watch (relative risk of oversleeping...). Maybe this can be bypassed, but I haven't looked into this yet. Otherwise good keyboard, big difference compared to my previous Motorola on which I often typed next to the letters, resulting in hilarious scenes ;-) The screen is a pleasure to the eye and is beautifully smooth and bright, even in broad daylight, but for the "ultimate test in bright sunlight" we still have to wait for a favor from the weather gods on good weather. The stereo speakers give a nice clear sound which allows me to leave my JBL speaker in the cupboard at times. What is a nice feature is the battery protection. I have set it to only charge to 85% instead of the full 100%. This gives better long-term battery protection and with the fast charging function, it is back to 85% at 45% in 30'. So early in the morning and/or late at night on the charger and back on track. The only downside is the weight. Especially in combination with the sturdy (nice!) back cover that I bought with it, the whole looks a bit heavy, but you get used to it quickly because it gives a feeling of robustness on the other hand. In short, happy with my purchase after just under four years of the Motorola One Vision. Hopefully this one can match this! Thanks to Coolblue for the acquisition discount.

This Samsung A54 became the successor to the A5 (2017) that I used for 5 years. Since I am not the youngest (1952), I studied it as much as possible beforehand and asked my son for advice. With the Sansung Switch app it was very easy to transfer everything. Only with Whattsapp it was a bit more difficult. The mobile has now been in use for about 2 months and I have become very familiar with it. Then my husband bought the same one so that I could also guide him through it because he is not much of an 'appliance person'. I hope to be able to do at least another 5 years with the A54. At first I thought my old charger was still good enough. However, charging was very slow. Now bought a new one (Samsung) and charging is now 'a piece of cake'. Tip: make sure you have all your passwords at hand when you install your new mobile.

Pleasantly surprised with this phone. Had been needing a new one for a while and this one meets all expectations. Nice and fast, beautiful screen, beautiful design, good battery life, surprisingly good speakers, and OneUI is much less present than I remember from older Samsungs. There is of course some bloatware but this is easy to remove. In addition, a very good update policy so that you can take it again. Definitely recommended!
