Description

The QNAP TS-433-4G is a powerful NAS for small companies with room for 4 hard drives. You can install these in a RAID 0 setup for extra speed, or RAID 1, 5, or 10 setup for a safe storage space. With this NAS, you can stream HD videos via Plex or provide a small office with wireless storage space. The TS-433-4G has an ARM Cortex-A55 Quad-Core processor with a speed of up to 2.3GHz. QNAP combined this with a staggering 4GB RAM for a very fast NAS. This NAS has a 2.5GbE Ethernet port, so you can reach a speed of up to 5Gbps. Or use both ports separately and create a stable connection for 2 servers at the same time.

Easily replace defective QNAP with a new model.

  • Old HDDs are easily transferred to new NAS
  • no HDMI

I purchased the TS-233 to replace a defective TS-251. The old drives were mounted in the new NAS. The TS-233 starts quickly and can be found on the internal network via the QFinder Pro tool. Then a firmware update was suggested. After the firmware update, the drives are automatically prepared for use in the new NAS. This process takes quite some time (about 4 hours in my case). Afterwards, the new NAS and all folders will be available again as before.

perfect NAS

  • very many additional options to install
  • very simple to install.
  • small and powerful
  • if you install too many things from apps it can get stuck.

bought this as a 4th nas option to work with it from the outside, so when I'm not at home, and the many apps for your smartphone are very handy, you can also work with it on the move without worries via the laptop. highly recommended.
