Description

You can easily make mini pizzas on the Tristar RA-2736 raclette grill, thanks to the included dough cutter. Put the cutter on a piece of dough, so you get a square pizza shape. Then you add your favorite ingredients to the dough such as mushrooms, bacon slices, or olives. The raclette grill heats up quickly thanks to the high 1300W power. The temperature is continuously adjustable via the dial. This means you can turn up the temperature when you're cooking fish or meat, and turn it down when you're grilling vegetables. The grill plate has a non-stick coating, so you have to use little oil or butter during grilling. After use, clean the grill plate, pans, and spatulas with a moist cloth.

Disappointing, doesn't get hot enough

  • Excellent non-stick coating
  • Plate does not get really hot even at maximum setting

Even on maximum setting, it takes a very long time for pieces of meat to heat up. If you put on the lower grill for pancakes, you can hardly use the gourmet plate, then you'll be 20 minutes further before a piece of meat is done. If you turn off the pans, it goes a little better with the grill plate (2 heat elements can be switched on or off)

Fine gourmet device for family and friends!

  • Fairly short cord, so an extension cable is needed

Nice device where you can dine with a large group (up to 8 people). The device heats up quickly and is also easy to clean. We made small pizzas using the pans and this worked well, all pizzas were delicious and equally hot and cooked everywhere. What is also very nice is that you can choose how much heat you need based on your company or use of the device.

I am very positive about the product!

  • A plus is that there is the possibility to heat two different sides of the device, so if you have not used one anymore you can turn off the heat.
  • The products that we baked on it were ready to eat in a reasonably short time.
  • The grill plate is easy to clean.
  • A downside is that when you really bake with 8 people, there is not a lot of room for everyone and the different types of food mix with each other.

Overall I have had a good experience with this device. The device heated up well and quickly. The products I baked with the device were quickly ready to eat. Because the device is made for eating with eight people, you don't have a lot of space and it is possible that the food on the grill plate will mix with each other. The trays are very useful for this.
