This is long enough to take the clipper on vacation without a charger. In addition, there are LED lights on the side so that I can easily see how full the battery is. That way I know exactly when to charge it. If I still have an empty battery, I can charge the clippers with a micro USB. This is a common plug, so chances are you already have it with you. The hair clipper also includes a charging station and a charger. These are on the large side, so they are especially useful for home use. Maintenance When I'm done shaving, I rinse the clipper head under the tap. This way I can easily remove the hairs. The hair clipper is not completely waterproof. Because of this I don't use it in the shower and I don't rinse it completely under the tap after use. There is also a cleaning brush for removing hairs. I think the brush is a bit on the small side. The clippers also come with maintenance oil for the cutting blades. This is nice, because it ensures that the device continues to work properly.
