Sony SRS-XG300 Gray

I am very satisfied with the Sony SRS-XG300. The volume can be nice and loud, the speaker has a powerful bass and thanks to the ring lights, my house parties turn into a real party. I just think it's a shame that the speaker doesn't have 360-degree sound. Positively surprised by Mega Bass The sound of the XG300 is full and powerful. Even at a high volume, the music still sounds clear. But what really impresses me is the solid bass. I press the Mega Bass button and I not only hear the bass, but I feel it too. The low tones give the music an extra dimension, without pushing the high and medium tones into the background. The only thing I regret is that the speaker does not have 360 degree sound. I hear a clear difference when I stand in front of or behind the speaker. This is more of a personal preference. Almost all Bluetooth speakers have front-facing speakers. But in a new model I would like to see you enjoy the same powerful sound on all sides of the speaker. No worries about empty battery When my friends and I have a party, it goes on until the early hours. The speaker has a battery life of 25 hours, so I never worry about an empty battery. It also charges super fast. After charging for 10 minutes, I can listen to music for another 70 minutes. Extra atmosphere due to the light show I think the light rings on both sides of the speaker are a nice extra. These dance along and change color to the rhythm of the music. This gives a nice effect, especially when it is dark in the evening. If I connect the speaker to the app, you can adjust the settings and colors and create a personalized light show.

Sound in the middle and high range sounds a bit dull to me. I miss the brightness even when playing with the equalizer on the phone. Other than that a perfect device.

When unpacking this speaker, you immediately notice that it is a robust, sturdy yet reasonably compact speaker that feels solid. Connecting is smooth and simple, you can get started right away. There are a few buttons on it, including a connect button, extra bass and accepting your phone call. Behind a cover (so that the speaker remains water- and dust-tight is a mini jack, USB connection for charging your devices and a button to turn the LED lighting on and off. The speaker is a lot more handy than, for example, the JBL Megaboom 2 because the Sony is a lot more compact and the handle is integrated in the speaker, which I think is a real advantage. This speaker is also easier to carry and is less heavy and cumbersome. The sound is slightly less full than with the JBL, but sounds like in my opinion a lot clearer.The basses are intensive and full.Convincing a little less than with the JBL, but the size + price is accordingly. The LED lighting is a nice addition. These really sway to the music. The speaker is waterproof and dustproof, and the battery lasts up to 25 hours. An ideal companion for the garden, park or on holiday!
