Good price/performance
- Price/performance ratio
- Good CPU for gaming
- reasonable energy consumption
- Supplied cooler is bad, better buy a separate CPU cooler

The AMD 5600x strikes a nice balance between price and performance. You can tackle all modern games with it (if you have a good GPU of course). I am very satisfied with it myself, notice a clear difference compared to my previous CPU (Ryzen 5 2600x, which was also a nice CPU in its time). Unfortunately, the included cooler is practically worthless. Maybe just enough to bridge the period until you have chosen a CPU cooler. In my case, I purchased a Cooler Master Hyper 212. Saves about 20 degrees in my case.

Good value for money. CPU is an all-rounder and especially excels in single threaded applications (like most games). But also hobby video editing and streaming is no problem.

The Ryzen 5600X seems to be perfect for gaming and has a lot of features improved since last gen. The X model overclocks pretty easy. I was able to gain 0.4ghz very easy. Buy you have to consider a good cooling solution. I'm running a watercooler and the CPU can reach 80°C pretty easy with some oc.
