Description
With the WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra 4TB, you can get started with all your important files right away. Thanks to the 2 pre-configured drives, you have a total storage capacity of 4TB at your disposal right away. You simply set up the ready-to-use NAS in the living room or at the office. The extensive data protection ensures that your files are kept safe, so you can store all your movies, photos, and other important files in your own personal cloud. With the Plex app, you can play media on your TV, smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Via the My Cloud app for Android and iOS, you can even access your files when you're out of the house and anywhere in the world. In addition, the extension port allows you to quickly transfer some photos or documents from an external hard drive or USB flash drive. The NAS automatically turns itself off when you don't use it.

Provide good installation documentation! Missed opportunity.
- RAID1.
- Compact, quiet (if the MyCloud is configured, which can apparently take days).
- You can connect 2 extra USB disks to it, for storage that does not have to be RAID1.

- Unreliable software
After more than a year of use and some firmware upgrades, this product still does not meet the basic requirements. It sighs and puffs and moans, without doing any real work. The software hangs very quickly, so that when you access it remotely, you cannot access your data. You will not receive a notification (no reboot suggestion) so that you immediately (and often unnecessarily) tinker with your network settings.
