I was hoping for a properly working doorbell, but unfortunately it doesn't work more often than not. The router is about 3 meters away from the doorbell, but the WiFi signal is apparently often too weak, causing the connection to break. I have the fastest speed via KPN, but apparently that is not enough. So a strong connection (3/3 bars) is needed and a good router. Furthermore, the image often stutters and the battery is empty after 6 days. I think that's much faster than expected. So unfortunately a disappointment for me.

Easy to install if you follow instructions. It's nice that the battery can also be used wirelessly because our existing cabling was too short to connect the ring. Battery also lasts a long time, only charging takes at least 12 hours and no doorbell during that time, so you have to take that into account. Picture surprisingly sharp and good even at night. Sound also good and clear. Motion notifications adjusted through the app. Ringtone and volume are also easy to adjust via the app. If the Chime is also tested, the Ring doorbell can simply be connected directly to the socket. Handy if your phone is not nearby or is on silent. You have to take out a subscription to look back and save, which I think is a financial downside to the ring doorbell.
