Great professional quality impact driver. It has 3 functions: high speed, low speed and automatic. Automatic starts at a lower speed than the low speed mode and automatically switches to full power. This makes it easy to start gently until the screw "snatches"; a cleverly conceived function. I haven't come across anything that this device can't compete with. Thick screws in hardwood are no problem. Do wear hearing protection in this case, because once the impact function becomes active, it comes with brute force and a lot of noise, especially on the high speed/auto mode.
