You can use your Miele stick vacuum in 3 ways. If you place the motor at the top of the tube, you can easily get to hard-to-reach places. The vacuum will also fit underneath the couch, for example. You can vacuum more comfortably if you place the motor at the bottom of the tube, because the weight is then closer to the ground. Without the tube, you can use the vacuum as a handheld vacuum. This allows you to quickly vacuum some crumbs from the kitchen table.

When you use a Miele stick vacuum in Reach Mode, you place the motor at the top of the tube. This makes the vacuum even more flexible, because you can almost put it flat on the ground. In Comfort Mode, you place the motor at the bottom of the tube. This way, the weight is closer to the floor and you can hold the vacuum more comfortably. You can remove the tube from your Miele vacuum to use it as a handheld vacuum. This allows you to quickly vacuum dust and crumbs without grabbing your entire vacuum. That's useful if you quickly want to vacuum your kitchen table. With the attachments, you can adjust the handheld vacuum to various surfaces.
