How do you descale your Senseo Original?

• Step 1. Start the first descaling cycle.
• Step 2. Start the second descaling cycle.
• Step 3. Start the rinsing cycle.
• Step 4. Complete the rinsing cycle.

You need:

• Senseo descaler
• Container of 1.5L
• Measuring cup
• Used coffee pad

1. Fill a pitcher with 1L of water.
2. Add half of the descaler to the water.
3. Pour the descaling mixture into the water tank.
4. Place the water tank into the machine.
5. Turn on the machine.
6. Place the 1-cup pad holder with a used coffee pad into the machine.
7. Place a container under the coffee outlet.
8. Press the 2-cup button a couple of times, until the water tank is empty.

2. Add the other half of the descaler to the water.
3. Pour the descaling mixture into the water tank.
4. Place the water tank into the machine.
5. Replace the 1-cup pad holder with the 2-cup pad holder and a different used coffee pad.

7. Press the 2-cup button a couple of times, until the water tank is empty.

2. Rinse the water tank under the faucet.
3. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the 'Max' level.
4. Place the water tank back into the machine.
5. Place an empty container under the coffee outlet.
6. Press the 2-cup button a couple of times, until the water tank is empty.
