Until recently I used the Huawei Watch GT 2, but unfortunately it broke down after faithful service. Time for a new watch! After much hesitation between different brands, I finally chose Huawei, given my positive experience.
The GT 5 is really an upgrade. The functionalities have been greatly improved and many new options have been added. The watch excels in the field of sports functions: it accurately keeps track of your results, distances and even maps. In addition, it functions as a personal coach on your wrist. How did you sleep? Should you consider extra training or take a rest? The watch offers tailor-made advice.
In addition, it also functions excellently as a smartwatch. Notifications, phone calls and more appear directly on your screen. What I find extra useful is that you can respond to WhatsApp and SMS messages, both with standard answers and via an on-screen keyboard.
One point of attention is that you can only install limited apps. There is no access to the Play Store, only the Huawei AppGallery. For me this is not a problem, because I do not need any additional apps, but it may be something for others to consider.
In summary, I recommend this watch to everyone, from beginners to advanced athletes. It offers valuable training insights and a coach on your wrist. Plus, you only have to charge it once or twice a week. A great choice!
