The egg boiler is very easy to use. You put the eggs and the right amount of water in it and turn on the power button and within a few minutes the eggs are ready. The device is also easy to keep clean. You have to remove the part where the water enters every time, otherwise it will boil and it will be more difficult to clean. The only drawback is the handle of the lid, which is difficult to hold. This is not possible without a potholder, because the steam that comes out is very hot. Finally, it is a bit of a shame that the supplied water jug just doesn't fit in the device and it has to be stored separately. All in all, a nice purchase!

I bought this device as a present for my father. He had another type in mind, but it didn't have an automatic exit. I think that's an important condition given his age and forgetfulness. And that appears to work well. There was really no need to experiment with the amount of water. He has no problem getting the soft or hard egg he wants. Even a poached and a fried egg worked. But that's mostly funny to do once, not the main thing. The measuring cup can simply be stored in the device, so it does not have to be left lying around. And I did ask specifically, but if you just take the plastic cover "away from you", then you don't have to use a pot holder at all. No problems with hot steam etc. He also likes the fact that he can still cook fine eggs with very little water (if you compare it with a pan on the fire). In short: a satisfied user.
