  3. If you buy it or pay for it in the store, we'll deduct the discount right away. Buying it online? Come to the store within 30 days. You'll receive the trade-in value on your bank account within 7 working days or the amount as CoolblueCredit in your account within 3 working days.

It's important that you clean your Apple Watch and disconnect it from your iPhone and Apple ID, otherwise you can't upgrade. Also take the watch strap and the Apple Watch charging cable with you. In the store, the upgrade expert will let you know what the final trade-in value is.

How will I receive my trade-in value?

When you've ordered and paid for your new Apple Watch, you'll get a refund of the trade-in value on your bank account. This amount will be on the bank account that's in our system within about 7 working days. Do you choose CoolblueCredit? It'll take 3 working days before it's in your Coolblue account. If you pay for or buy your new Apple Watch in the store, we'll deduct the trade-in value right away.

Can you trade in your Apple Watch without a new purchase?

Yes, that's possible. If you have an old Apple Watch that you no longer use, simply hand it in in one of our stores. You'll then receive the trade-in value as CoolblueCredit. This credit will be added to your Coolblue account after 3 working days. You can spend it on our website or in the store. It doesn't matter what you buy with it. You can return up to 5 Apple Watches in one go.

Do you have to trade in an Apple Watch?

Yes, you can currently only hand in Apple Watch models. We don't provide trade-in values for smartwatches from other brands. In addition, you can't trade in a smartphone or tablet for a new Apple Watch. Also take the watch strap and the Apple Watch charging cable with you when you trade it in.
