How do you remove the notification 'Empty the coffee grounds tray' on your fully automatic machine?
Did you empty the coffee grounds tray of your fully automatic coffee machine, but do you still get this notification? The machine didn't register it. In this article, we'll explain how to solve this.
Solve notification 'Empty coffee grounds tray'
You probably emptied the coffee grounds tray when the machine was turned off. That way, the coffee machine doesn't register that you emptied the tray before, and thinks it still needs to be done. Go through the following steps:
- Step 1. remove the coffee grounds tray and the drip tray.
- Step 2. wait for 5 seconds.
- Step 3. place the coffee grounds tray and drip tray back.
Place the empty drip tray back again
Turn on the machine and remove the coffee grounds tray and drip tray. These are the parts at the bottom of the machine that you place your cup on. Wait at least 5 seconds and place the coffee grounds tray and the drip tray back into the machine. Make sure separate parts connect properly and there aren't any visible openings or crevices. The notification will now disappear from your fully automatic coffee machine.
