The HERO 11 includes an Enduro battery. This battery performs better in cold weather conditions, which is useful for winter sports, for example. You can record for 56 minutes if the battery has a -10°C temperature. With an average 25°C temperature, this battery also performs better. It lasts 38% longer. In addition, the battery charges faster. So you don't have to wait as long when it's empty. GoPro calls it the Enduro battery, and you can recognize it by the white accents.

The upgraded image sensor has an extremely wide image angle, which allows you to capture more of your environment. You can record footage with the 8:7 aspect ratio, which is almost square. Via the GoPro Quick app, you can zoom in on your images and crop them. You can make 9:16 landscape shots, for example. Do you need vertical footage for Instagram stories? Choose the best frame yourself. When you crop the footage, the details and sharpness remain.

With the HERO 11, you can record in the 10-bit color space. This means that it displays up to 1 billion colors. Your footage looks lifelike as a result, they have more color depth, and the transitions between different colors looks more natural. The maximum resolution you can record in is 5.3K. And you can take up to 27-megapixel photos. In 5.3K, you can record up to 60 fps. So your images look smooth.

The Creator Edition includes accessories to improve the quality of your videos. If you're recording at a dark location, you can add more lighting to your video with the Light Mod, for example. You can set the intensity of the Light Mod yourself. The Media Mod is a casing with a microphone for even better sound quality. And thanks to the extra connectors of the Media Mod, you can also use it with the Light Mod, for example.
