  • How do you want to keep the coffee warm?
  • Do you want extra functions for more user-friendliness?

For filter coffee, you need ground coffee. You can buy ground coffee in the supermarket. Prefer to grind the beans yourself? Use a coffee grinder. With a separate coffee grinder, you can adjust the grind size of the beans yourself. There are also filter machines with a built-in coffee grinder. Simply put fresh coffee beans in the machine and it'll grind the beans right away.

How many cups of coffee do you want to make in one go?

With most filter coffee machines, you can make about 10 cups of 120ml coffee each. The amount of coffee you brew depends on the size of the water tank. Are you the only coffee drinker at home? Choose a small water tank. Do your roommates or family members also like to drink coffee? A coffee machine with a larger water tank is a better choice for you. Filter coffee machines have 2 options to keep the coffee warm for longer. The first option is an included thermos. This way, your coffee remains warm for 30 or 40 minutes longer. There are also filter coffee machines with a heating plate. Place the coffee pot on the heated plate on top of the machine and enjoy warm coffee for up to 40 minutes longer.
