With a Nespresso Vertuo, you can make different coffee cup sizes. There's something for everyone, and there's a cup of coffee for every moment of the day. So you can wake up with a strong espresso and curl up on the coach at night with a mild mug. The capsules are larger than the Nespresso Original capsules.
Small size
Espresso (40ml)
The espresso is 40ml, which makes it the smallest cup of coffee. This is the classic Nespresso size in a Vertuo version. The espresso is available in 4 different flavors, such as the Voltesso, Diavolitto, and Altissio. The espresso also comes in a decaf version.
Double espresso (80ml)
A double espresso is double the amount of coffee delight. That's because there are 2 shots in 1 capsule. This gives the coffee a stronger aroma and more intense flavor. This coffee is made for you if you like an intense and robust espresso. The double espresso is available in 2 flavors, the Chiaro and the Scuro. The Chiaro has woody notes. The flavor of the Scuro is more intense and has a fuller body. But thanks to the vanilla and cacao flavors, it's still balanced.

Gran lungo (150ml)
The ideal middle ground is the gran lungo, this size isn't too small or too big. A gran lungo is 150ml, which is 40ml more than the lungo of the Nespresso Original. The gran lungo is available in 3 different flavors. You can choose from the Fortado, the Arondio, and the decaf Ontuoso.
Mug (230ml)
If the lungo isn't enough for you, the mug if the right size for a generous cup of coffee. There of 9 different coffee flavors in this size. Choose from soft flavors like the Melozio and Solello to powerful and intense flavors like the Stormio and Odacio. In addition, there's a completely decaffeinated and half decaffeinated coffee.
Carafe (535ml)
The carafe makes even more coffee than the alto. Specifically, over half a liter of coffee in one go. A carafe is ideal to share. It comes in 2 flavors, the Carafe Pour-over Style and the Carafe Pour-over Style Mild. The first has roasted aromas and smoky notes. The other capsule consists of soft and smooth flavors with sweet caramel notes.
Barista Creations and Master Origins
As the best of the best, Nespresso Vertuo has a couple of special coffee capsules. These are the Barista Creatoins and the Master Origins. The Barista Creations are perfect to mix with some milk and are made for people who like their coffee sweet.
The Master Origins are world coffees inspired by their countries of origin, such as Mexico, Columbia, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia.
